2018-10-21: On Sunday (21 October), at least 17 people were killed and 126 others injured when a train derailed in the north-eastern county of Yilan. The train, Puyuma Express 6432, went off the tracks between the Dongshan and Suxin stations at about 05:00 p.m. (local time).

2018-10-05: More than a hundred passengers were injured after a commuter train rear-ended a stationary train in Van Riebeeck Park Station in Kempton Park on Thursday evening (04 October, local time). The stationary train had a technical defect.

2018-09-01: At least one person was seriously injured in the collision of two trams in the east of Stuttgart on Saturday (01 September). The cause of the accident, which took place at the Carl-Benz-square in Untertürkheim and involved trams of line 4, initially remained unclear. Traffic in the area is currently disrupted.

The Aeromexico aircraft with flight number 2431 was on its way from Durango City in Durango State to Mexico City when it crashed shortly after take-off from Durango International Airport near the airport. The cause of the crash is still unclear.
