2019-04-12: A 6.8 M magnitude earthquake struck the 102km SSW of Luwuk, Indonesia region in a depth of 17.48 km. It is unlikely that the quake triggered a destructive tsunami. However, it cannot be ruled out that a small, local tsunami has been generated.

Caution: Multiple tsunami waves could hit the coast hours after the earthquake.
