In the northern and northeastern parts of the country the highest alarm level is valid, as temperatures of up to 42 degrees have to be expected. For the weekend temperatures of at least 40°C were forecast nationwide.
2019-06-26: The Spanish weather service warns from Wednesday (26 June) to at least Tuesday (02 July) of a heat wave during which temperatures of up to 44°C can be reached. The central and northern parts of the country are particularly affected.
