Update 2019-11-08: According to current media reports, at least five people were killed and at least 120 others injured in the 5.9 magnitude earthquake in northwestern Iran. The earthquake occurred early Friday morning (8 November, local time) about 50 kilometres northeast of Hashtrud, a town on the border with Armenia and Azerbaijan. So far there have been no reports of major damage to the infrastructure.
