At least two perpetrators had previously been reported. The attack took place near the former office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. A trial is currently underway against persons allegedly connected with an attack on the magazine's editorial office in 2015.
2020-09-25: On Friday (25 September), at least four people were reportedly injured in a knife attack in Paris. At least two perpetrators are reported to be on the run.
