2017-07-07: According to reports from Friday (07 July), heavy rain has caused flooding and flash floods in south-eastern parts of Bangladesh, affecting more than one million people. At least four people were killed in the last two days. Several roads have been closed.
Local traffic disruptions are to be expected, further floods and landslides are possible. Travellers in the affected areas should exercise high caution, especially near rivers, the sea, and mountain sides.
