2018-09-25: Leipzig Central Station in the federal state of Saxony is completely closed for construction work from Wednesday 08:00 a.m. (26 September, local time) to Sunday 08:00 a.m. (30 September, local time). A rail replacement service has been set up.
Travellers are advised to schedule additional time for their journeys and to contact their railway company or tour operator about current train cancellations or delays before commencing their journey.
Update 2018-07-17: Travellers in or heading to Greece should still consider that workers of the Greek railway company TrainOSE have announced to hold a strike three times a day for three hours on Wednesday (18 July). The train drivers intend to stop working from 05:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m., from 01:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m. and from 09:00 p.m. to midnight (local times). In Athens, the strike action will also affect the services of the 'Proastiakos' suburban railway, which connects the city to the international Airport.
2018-07-03: On Tuesday afternoon (03 July, local time) a ferry carrying around 130 people and dozens of cars and trucks capsized off the coast of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. According to initial reports, the ferry was on its way from Bira in the Indonesian province of South Sulawesi, to Pamatata on the island of Selyar. At least six people were killed. So far, only 18 passengers were rescued.
Travellers should take into account local information and follow instructions by authorities.
Ngurah Rai International Airport
Update 2018-06-29: On Friday afternoon (29 June, local time) Bali opened its international airport after a volcanic eruption temporarily grounded flights. The Ngurah Rai International Airport began operating around 02:30 p.m. (local time). Ongoing disruptions are to be expected.
Update 2018-06-06: Due to the recent eruption of Fuego volcano on Tuesday (05.06.), delays and cancellations at Guatemala City Airport may continue.
Update 2018-06-04: Hamburg Airport is scheduled to resume operations at 06:00 a.m. on Monday morning (04 June, local time).
Update 2018-06-03 (2): According to latest reports, air traffic will remain suspended for the rest of Sunday (03 June).

Update 2018-05-18 (2): According to media reports, 104 passengers and 9 crew members were on board flight CU972, a Boeing 737 operated by Cubana de Aviación and originally leased from Italian company Blue Panorama Airlines. The accident occurred shortly after the plane took off near Aeropuerto Internacional José Martí airport in Cuba.
