2018-03-20: A storm caused damage and power blackouts in the southern state of Alabama since Monday evening (19 March, local time). Most affected is the city of Jacksonville, which was hit by at least one tornado. Houses were damaged, some of them severely, and trees were uprooted. Multiple people were injured. Extensive damage was also reported from Jacksonville State University. Tornadoes were also spotted in northern Alabama, near Huntsville and Ardmore. The severe weather will further move towards the state of Georgia.
