More than 600,000 households had no power supply. In the department of Dordogne a car driver was killed, and in the French Alps a truck driver was killed by the severe weather. In the town of Brive-la-Gaillarde, in the department of Corrèze, in the south-west of the country, at least five people, and in the municipality of Carhaix-Plouguer, in Brittany, at least three people were killed.
Update 2017-03-08: According to media reports from Tuesday evening (07 March, local time), at least three people were killed by the cyclone Enawo. Hundreds of people lost their homes and accommodations.
