Update 2019-04-20 (1): According to latest reports, gunmen attacked the communications ministry in central Kabul. The area around the building was sealed off by police as at least three attackers battled security forces. By now, at least two of the attackers have been killed and gunfire could no longer be heard. However, there was no official confirmation that the attack was over.
2019-04-20: On Saturday at about 11:40 a.m. (20 April, local time), an explosion and gunfire was heard in central Kabul near the communication ministry. There are currently no reports of casualties.
