Update 2018-08-09: The terrorist organisation Hamas fired around 150 rockets and mortar rounds against Israeli territory overnight Thursday (08/09 August, local time). Multiple people were injured in Sderot and other areas at the border to the Gaza Strip. A female Thai national is among the injured people. Several houses and cars were damaged in Sderot. The beach in Zikim was closed and there are restrictions in place on the size of gatherings. Railway services between Ashkelon and Sderot were suspended and unauthorized agricultural work is prohibited.
