2018-01-08: According to reports from Monday (08 January) Portuguese man o' war jellyfish are currently affecting beaches in Guam. Guam Department of Agriculture said it was also expecting increased numbers of jellyfish near Guam's beaches. Especially affected are the northern and eastern shores of the island, from Ritidian to Ipan.
Travellers were warned not to go near the jellyfish in the water or when they wash up on shore.
